This website is operated by Joana Castro, under the artistic brand IQUI Art. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to IQUI Art.

IQUI Art offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), including those additional terms and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including, without limitation, browsers, customers and contributors of content.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time by posting changes to this page. Your continued use of the site following any updates constitutes acceptance of those changes.

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence, or that you have the consent of a legal guardian to use this site.

You may not use our products for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose. Any breach of these Terms may result in immediate termination of access.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You understand that your content (not including payment information) may be transferred unencrypted across networks.

Payment information is always encrypted and securely processed through Stripe.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell or exploit any portion of the Service without written permission.

All artworks listed on this website are original, one-of-a-kind creations by Joana Castro.

Gift cards, limited editions and commissioned works may also be offered under the IQUI Art label.

Colors and textures are represented as accurately as possible, though minor variations may occur due to lighting or display settings.

We reserve the right to limit sales or discontinue any product at any time without notice.

Prices are listed in Euros (€) and may change without prior notice.

Commissions are available upon request and confirmed in writing.

Each begins with a dialogue about perception, space and light, leading to a singular work created specifically for the collector.

A non-refundable deposit may be required to initiate the process.

Completion timelines are approximate and depend on artistic and material conditions.

All commissioned works remain the intellectual property of the artist, and reproduction rights are not transferred upon purchase.

Payments are securely processed via Stripe, which accepts major credit cards and Apple Pay.

Bank transfers and selected digital payment options, including stablecoins, may be arranged upon request.

All payments must be made in full before the artwork is shipped or the digital certificate released.

Payment information is encrypted and not stored by IQUI Art.

Original artworks

• Worldwide shipping is included in the listed price.
• Each painting is packed by hand using archival, museum-grade materials.
• Dispatch occurs within two (2) business days unless otherwise stated, with delivery typically between two (2) and fourteen (14) business days depending on destination.
• All shipments include tracking and insurance. You will receive an email once your order is dispatched.

Gift cards

• Gift cards are carefully packaged and shipped within two (2) business days.
• Shipping is free for orders above €200; for lower values, costs are calculated at checkout.

Customs and import duties

• Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or handling fees, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
• If, due to local restrictions, shipping to a particular destination becomes unavailable, the order will be fully refunded.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the artwork is returned in its original condition and packaging.

To initiate a return, contact us by email before sending the item.

Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a damaged item.

Refunds are processed within seven (7) business days after inspection.

Gift cards, commissioned works and digital certificates are non-refundable.

IQUI Art gift cards are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Each gift card corresponds to a unique 15×15 cm hand-painted canvas that carries its assigned value and includes an embedded NFC chip and digital certificate.

Gift cards may be used toward the purchase of any available artwork or commission up to their value.

If the selected piece exceeds the card's value, the difference may be paid using any accepted payment method.

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Expired or lost cards will not be replaced.

In the event of loss or damage, the digital certificate associated with the card remains the only valid proof of ownership and balance.

Each original artwork includes:

• An embedded NFC chip for instant verification
• A digital certificate secured via blockchain confirming provenance and authenticity
• A signed and dated printed certificate issued in the studio

All intellectual property rights, including copyright and reproduction rights, remain with Joana Castro.

Purchasing a painting does not grant permission to reproduce or resell the image without written consent.

All website content is protected by copyright law.

Each original artwork, gift card or commissioned piece includes physical and digital identifiers confirming authenticity.

Tampering with or altering any of these identifiers is strictly prohibited. This includes removing, damaging, cloning or attempting to reassign the NFC tag or digital certificate to another work.

If a buyer suspects that a piece has been falsified or altered, they should immediately contact studio@iqui.art, keeping the artwork in a stable environment and preserving all packaging and documentation.

IQUI Art may assist with verification and, if necessary, initiate an independent authentication process.

Any confirmed case of tampering, counterfeiting or fraudulent use will void all related certificates and may result in cancellation of sale, refusal of future authentication or legal action.

While IQUI Art applies advanced security measures to protect authenticity, it cannot be held liable for third-party misuse or digital fraud beyond its control.

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.

We collect and process only the data necessary to complete your order and communicate with you.

We comply fully with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and do not sell or share data with third parties except when required for payment or shipping.

These Terms are effective unless terminated by either party.

We may terminate or suspend access if you fail to comply with these Terms or if fraud, abuse or misuse is suspected.

All obligations incurred prior to termination shall survive termination for all purposes.
