ART CARE
Art lasts when it is loved.
Before each work leaves the studio, we prepare it for its new home with an archival UV-protective fixative and careful packing. The goal is simple: to preserve the surface, the texture and the quiet presence of the piece.
Display
- Keep away from direct sunlight. Soft, indirect light is best.
- Keep in a cool, dry, well-ventilated space.
Handling
- Each work carries its own texture: layers of oil and oil pastel that may remain sensitive for months.
- The surface may invite touch, but it is best left to the imagination.
- Even the lightest contact can alter the pigment, changing what was meant to be seen.
- Handle the piece from its edges or by its frame, keeping the painted surface untouched.
Cleaning
- Dust lightly with a soft, dry natural-hair brush.
- Do not use water, cleaners, alcohol or compressed air.
Framing
- Each artwork is delivered ready to hang.
- If you choose to frame it after purchase, a floating frame or shadow gap is recommended, allowing the work to rest without direct contact.
- Avoid direct contact with the surface. No glass or acrylic should touch the artwork.
Storage
- Store upright, never stacked.
- Keep in a cool, dry, well-ventilated space.
- Do not store in a sealed box or plastic wrap for long periods.
Transport
- Reuse the original packaging when possible.
- Keep the work vertical and cushioned; avoid direct pressure on the surface.
Emergency Care
If the work is damaged or exposed to moisture, keep it stable. Move it to a dry, temperate space and let it rest. Do not touch the affected area or attempt to clean or repair. Photograph the condition and contact a professional conservator. Each work holds its own resilience. Patience first, intervention second.
